After completing the module, you should be able to:
1. Use basic numerical operations with whole numbers, integers, fractions and
decimals
2. Calculate ratios and proportions, percentages, averages
3. Construct and use appropriate graphical techniques to present simple data
4. Construct and use a spreadsheet application to record numerical data and use
simple formula
You should
address all the elements of the assignment task listed below. Please note that
tutors will use the assessment criteria set out below in assessing your work.

practice on performing advanced statistics manually and within Microsoft Excel.
USING SPECIALIST SOFTWARE: SPSS
Are
you carrying out statistical analysis as part of your research project? Or want
to up skill in this area? The using specialist software session will take you
through the basics of SPSS within your data analysis and will ensure that you
feel confident in using this versatile and responsive programmed.
