To conduct independent computer science research, you need to fully understand the area of research. You should be familiar with the open questions and common techniques in this field.

This assignment requires you to provide an overview of your MSc Research Specialism (AI/Networking/Cyber Security/Software Engineering/Data Science). These specialisms are available to students without a specific specialism.
