The research of the Human-Centered Computing topic is centered on analyzing and improving the interaction between technology and humans. Our aim is to study the development and effects of a range of technologies on people as well as communities and society. Our research focuses on exploring opportunities as well as threats in the development of intelligent and interactive tools and systems. We employ a variety of research methodologies to investigate ways to create ethical as well as inclusive and responsible computing systems that meet human needs, activities and overall well-being.

Human-centered Computing Strategy for the Design of a New System

Learning goal 1. Be able to demonstrate and understand how to use concepts from human-computer interaction in interactive designs for systems.

Learning result 2. Assess interactive systems qualitatively and quantitatively for their user-friendliness for the intended customer group.

Learning outcome 3: Understand and demonstrate the ability to manage stakeholder-developer interaction during the requirements elicitation stage.

Learning goal 4. Know and prove the capability to apply the fundamentals in user interface and information design to multi-modal and trans-mediated interactive systems.

Learning result Five: Be aware of the dynamic nature that a multidisciplinary team to develop the software that will meet the needs of a targeted client group.
