into Accounting, Finance, and management. The course will give students a
solid grounding in statistical inference and enable them to produce basic
statistical research with confidence. The skills learned will also enable
the student to become a more sophisticated user of advanced research
methods. The course is designed to help students understand the
limitations and advantages of quantitative techniques.
Module Learning Outcomes

Topic 1: Measurements and Charts
* Types (nominal, ordinal discrete and continuous data)

* Measures for spread (standard deviation, variance, IQR range,
coefficient of variability)
